What should be set up on Google Analytics to integrate it with the Virtual Expo platform?
Being one of the most common web statistics platform, Google Analytics provides a simple way for web sites to learn more about their visitors.
The virtual expo platform integrates Google Analytics on several layers.
For instance, an exhibition organizer can see the success of the event. On the other hand, an exhibitor can see who visited his booth.
To integrate Google Analytics, a tracking code is needed. To get one, please go to the analytics dashboard at https://analytics.google.com/
The following screenshot assumes that a google analytics account already exists.
From the list of „Properties & Apps“, select one or create a new one specific for the exhibition / booth.
The sequence of letters and numbers under the property name, UA-158948219-1 , is the tracking code.
Using that tracking code, the virtual expo platform can send events to Google Analytics.
